I was born in 1972 and started programming at twelve, on a TRS-80, a Timex Sinclair 1000 and a Commodore 64. A black-and-white television was the monitor, and programs went on audio cassette. I typed in listings from coding magazines and dialed into bulletin boards, including a college campus BBS.
