74 commits to Bow & Bridge from Mon 14 Sep to Sun 20 Sep 2026. Bow & Bridge went to production this week: three deployments, the last with 605 published maker records live. Getting there meant a deploy chain that is dry by default and rolls back on a failed gate, a site review from the point of view of a trade reader, and a rule for who counts as possibly living that opened the floor from 191 published records to 648.
Pipeline figures for the week: 8,364 pages read, 551 volumes unlocked, 457 records published and 256 corrections added.
- First production deployment on 18 Sep, second and third on 20 Sep; the deploy is one command, dry by default, ships the tables as data and rewrites URLs on the host.
- Applied a ninety-year rule: a maker whose cited printing is at least ninety years old clears the possibly-living check. The export went from 191 to 648 published records in one pass; 605 were live after the second deploy.
- Site review for a trade reader, eight findings fixed: search finds makers, every published maker in one A–Z table, the citation stays open on every page, each printing links to its scan.
- Added /lines/, a search over the printed lines themselves, so a reader can find the exact directory entry a claim rests on.
- Lifted printed label wording into its own claim slot: 624 label claims written, 555 attested against the page, with a Labels section on each maker page.
- Widened the scope worldwide and taught the discovery classifier the trade words in German, French, Italian, Dutch and Spanish.
