Six commits to romanclarkson.us from Mon 28 Sep to Wed 30 Sep 2026. I changed how the site describes my work, renamed the Skills page to AI Bench, and then cut the part of AI Bench I had decided I didn’t want. The week ended with a small fix to the script that deploys the site.
- Added a second line to the footer linking to the sitemap, llms.txt, and a download of the whole site as text or JSON. It reuses the existing footer styles and adds no CSS.
- Changed the home page opening paragraph, llms.txt and the site’s JSON-LD to say that I have done agentic coding since August 2025: directing AI coding agents like Claude Code in parallel, writing the instructions and skills they work from, and building MCP servers that connect them to real systems.
- Renamed the Skills page to AI Bench, at /ai-bench/. The nav label, the page allowlists in the MCP and record plugins, the About page link and the llms.txt entry all changed with it. Old /skills/ links now answer with a 301 to the new address; I added that redirect myself because WordPress’s built-in old-slug redirect skips pages. I checked locally that /ai-bench/ returns 200 and /skills/ redirects.
- Updated llms.txt to say AI Bench carried reviews of five projects, then reversed it the next morning. On 30 Sep I pulled the AI-written reviews and archived them, so the page now holds a short intro, the Undercurrents section and the original Skills content under a Skills I share heading. The reviews are archived in the repo under docs/ai-bench-2026-09/, which the deploy script does not sync, so they never reach the live site.
- Changed build/push-code.sh to reuse an SSH connection I already have open and leave it open. GoDaddy requires the key and the password on every login, so the prompt cannot be removed; the script now only asks, and closes the connection afterward, when none is open.
